Kilts Up Scottish Export 80 Shilling Ale

Quarter Horse Porter ™

Our brown porter is an easy drinking beer,  full of chocolate flavor with a subtle supporting roasted character.  It’s on the upper end of the scale for a porter in strength and bitterness.

We use a mix of English and domestic pale malt, a generous helping of chocolate malt, a touch of English crystal, and special roast malt.  We then mix it up a bit with American Columbus and English Challenger hops to finish.

Shenandoah Stout ™

A roasty beer with some bittersweet chocolate and caramel flavors, combined with Blackstrap molasses that provides a little residual sweetness.  Being an American Stout, we generously hop it with Columbus, Centennial, and Cascade hops that provide a light, citrus aroma and flavor.  It also sports a thick, creamy, brown head!

Who said beer wasn't good for you! Molasses provides no less than 20% of the US RDA for Calcium, Iron, and Potassium.  Drink up health nuts!

Banshee Irish Red ™

A malt-focused easy drinking beer that exhibits some malt sweetness, followed by some light roast, and a somewhat dry finish.  We use English Pale malt, a touch of crystal malt, roasted barley, and English hops. The word "banshee" is a Gaelic term for a female spirit.  Legend has it that around the 1840s, the owner of the farm that is now Banshee Reeks Park in Loudoun County Virginia heard strange cries and sounds in the woods that he believed were wailing banshees… we just hope you find the beer good enough to scream for another when you’re done!
